November blogging has not quite gone to plan. My laptop died and Doug very kindly helped me restore it, while I was at the WOYWW Hallowe'en crop on Saturday. Since then I've been putting it back in order.
I do have a desk shot today though, hooray!
I taught a class earlier and this, the contents of the kitchen table, is the aftermath. Stamps and inks waiting to be put back whence they came.
We made four cards using the Wondrous Wreath stamps.
We started by learning how to stamp the wreath in three stages and cut it out with matching dies. Also how to deal with those tricky spindly word die cuts.
We then stepped it up a bit, by adding the wreath to a simple gatefold card.
Next, a change of colour scheme and some added bling.
Finally, a simple one layer card, once everyone was comfortable with the 3 step stamping.
Linking up with Julia and all the other lovely deskers out there. So good to see some of you at the weekend. It was such a great day. No photos from me, but there are plenty out there to see.
That's me off to collect my girl from the bus stop. I'll be round to visit this evening.

Beautiful cards. I really like the first one. I am amazed at how many talented card makers there are in blogland. Stamping, die cutting, oh so many nimble fingers.
The Christmas cards you made look really beautiful!

Lovely cards, Fiona. Well done. 3 stages of stamping? Am I missing something very obvious here??
Take care. God bless.

Your cards are truly lovely...aren't those spindly dies absolutely lovely.
Doug is just Mr Amazing huh, how kind of him, and hey, what a relief!!
Lovely Christmas cards - the hardwood background stamp is one of my favourites.
What a lovely wreath stamp (and die too?). I wish I could have gone to that class. Did you then sell the stamp to the students? Or did they come with the stamp.
I enjoyed looking at the photos of the crop. You all had a mighty good time. It seems everyone has gained a few kilos too.
Have a good week,

I honestly adore these cards Fi x
Absolutely beautiful, I can't choose a favourite they are all so lovely.
I like what you have done with the holly garland. The background - is it stamped or paper? I just love the wood effect.
Hugs, Neet 8 xx
Beautiful cards. You know I'm a sucker fro that kind of a background :)
looks very tricky indeed. butterfliecrafter#12
Such pretty cards - I love the three step stamping - something I never do as I'm incapable of lining up the stamp on top of the stamped image! I also don't use word dies as I can never get them out of the die without them curling up into a small ball and snapping bits off! I need to come to one of your classes! Thanks for your earlier visit and I hope you have a great week,

Hi Fiona, Doug said you're welcome, he's happy its working fine. Lovely to see how versatile that stamp set is, and love your colour schemes. Have a great week, hugs, Shaz xx
Great card designs - so smart and uncluttered. x Jo
Those wreaths are so effective and you've got four very different but complementary cards from one stamp. Happy crafting :-) Max #30

Your cards are wonderful! Glad Doug was able to restore your laptop, what a great guy he is! Was fabulous to see you on Saturday; it's always such a good day out! Helen 5
I love that clean graphic design quality of your cards..they'd be the ones I'd head for in the shops! I didn't realise Doug had been performing open laptop surgery at the crop...it's amazing what I missed. Goad it's ok now...he's a genius!!
Hugs, LLJ 18 xxxx
Such gorgeous cards! I'd like to come to one of your classes - I haven't done any stamping for ages. Sorry about your laptop, but glad you got it sorted.
Such pretty cards.
Hi Fiona, Great to meet you on Saturday. Your lemon drizzle cake was to die for. I love your cards. Is the wood a background stamp?

Glad Doug got your puter sorted. I sure missed seeing everyone but my boy was more important this time. Those cards are fabulous. Take care Zo xx 32
Ah I saw Doug sorting a laptop out! Nice card and it was lovely catching up.kyla
Glad you managed to get your laptop sorted out - really lovely cards x
Sorry to be late arriving ... Your cards are still looking very beautiful, and I love the wreath and lettering in your final one. Hurrah for laptop rescue!
What a couple of great cards! I love that stamp and what you've done with it. I know what you mean about cutting intricate words. It's so easy to rip a piece. If you did, it doesn't show!! So glad you are back in business with your laptop. I get a little---okay, a lot---panicky when I'm having puter probs!!
That stamp is really lovely x
