What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday #113

Another week, another desk shot. Lot’s more of them to be seen over at Julia’s place, if you fancy a good nose around.

The latest copy of Mollie Makes arrived on Saturday. I do like the magazine, but I think they need a bit more variety in their projects. This is the fourth issue now and there have been a selection of cute things to make from felt in each issue so far. I would like to see something a bit different next month.

I found a tutorial for some monster bookmarks and I’m adapting it so that I can get two out an A5 piece of card. It’ll be one of the ideas in this week’s Friday Five, so check back then if you need some activities to entertain the children during the summer holidays. The re-usable water bombs seem to be the most popular choice from part 1 of Holiday Fun!

Must investigate the water bombs. You know everytime I come on your blog I mean to say "Love your Header" - There done it at last.
Thanks for the lovely email the other week.
Am in a bit of a mood at the moment as I cannot find where I saved some instructions - now it is getting critical (timewise).
Enjoy Friday.

I think you are right - I would love to see a bit of knitting included too. Though this was still my favourite issue yet

am glad I've not bothered buying Molly Makes now! Sounds a little less than inspiring... Good luck with the monster bookmarks. I assume they are bookmarks shaped like monsters, not just huge ones? LOL

That is a problem in a lot pof publications. They find something they like and it turns into a 10 part series. Love the clean desk! You are much more organized than I! Have a fab WOYWW -Amanda

Monster bookmarks sound and look interesting ... Not seen more than the first issues of the magazine: I'm not really into felt, but more variety sounds as if you'd find it more stimulating. Anywhere you can give them some feedback?
