What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday? #141

Just a quickie from me this week, as it’s half term and I still have a poorly boy here.

IMG_0093

It’s a beautiful sunny morning and my wall looks pink in this shot, but I can assure you I’ve not been decorating since last week. My desk (and laptop) tends to get taken over by my lovely girl during holidays, because she likes to be where the rest of the family are, while she creates on her graphics tablet.

My quilting book arrived on Monday, so I’ve been able to make a start on cutting the strips. It’s a fairly simple design, made up of four patch blocks with a row of strips around them. I’ll post a picture as soon as I have a block sewn together.

Head on over to Julia’s place to see hundreds more desks from around the world.

Hope the sun is shining where you are.

Sorry your boy is poorly but I'm sure half term is helping with that! My girl likes to craft with me too - often I end up spending more time with her on her project than on mine but I guess that's what it's all about! Thanks for sharing - happy Wednesday!

Poor ol' boy - hope he picks up soon, otherwise it's going to be a sad half term :(
I'm still in awe that you're going to do patchwork. I love all the gorgeous quilts you posted earlier on, how amazing are they?? I just wish I had the patience...but know myself too well...*sigh*

Its nice to "see" you in the reflection, even if your space has been taken over. I hope your boy recovers soon - its not fair when precious non-school days are taken away is it?! Looking forward to seeing the blocks.

I also like that picture at the top of your page. I am suffering from withdrawal symptoms from lack of seaside in the recent months. Hope your poorly boy soon feels much better. Half term is not the time to be ill. Thank you for visiting, and I will post photos of the improvements as soon as I have finished moving things around and tidying up - yet again. xx Maggie #100

Sounds like the young ones have taken over. First your son is ill, then your daughter takes over your laptop area. Hope all gets sorted soon. Thanks for dropping by earlier. Happy WOYWW from #3.

Hope your boy is feeling better. Love the warmth from your desk, even if it's not pink in reality, fab lighting effect! Take care, thanks for sharing & hope you enjoy this week's WOYWW. Zo xx 86

Hope the laddie is feeling better now. The question is, does your wall look pink because of the glow from your pink fleece? I can see it in the screen of your laptop!

Thanks for stopping by....
