What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #331

Last week I was playing around with a set of stamps and matching embossing folder. Trying to come up with a plan to please those who can't wait for Christmas and those (like me) who want to put it off a while longer.

You're all dying to know if I managed to pull it off, right? See what you think.

One in autumnal shades and the other with a more festive colour scheme. It wasn't that difficult in the end, the stamp set did the work for me. I wasn't keen on the "Autumn Wishes & tasty dishes" sentiment. It's intended for Thanksgiving I imagine. I got over it by only partially stamping the image. I can see the woodland embossing folder getting a lot of use.

Linking up with Julia and the Deskers this blustery afternoon. If you're coming to the Hallowe'en Crop, and would like to order any Stampin' Up goodies to collect there, please don't hesitate to contact me. I'll be happy to help.

That's it from me, but I'll be back on Friday with the return of SIPIDI! Yes, finally.

PS I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who left me supportive comments on Monday. I've replied to most of you now, but there are a few "no-reply" bloggers in there and I wasn't able to email back.

I particularly like the Autumn card, mainly because you don't see many of them around.

Lovely designs and faultless execution! What about those of us who want to forget about Christmas altogether, LOL, I mean as far as crafting is concerned. I guess, I'm just seasonally challenged! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #30

Genius! I think that's completely inspired.

Love the colours in your autumn card (and I agree that it's far too soon to think about Christmas).

Two really fab cards - amazing the difference a change of ink and cardstock can make. Looking forward to the return of SIPIDI (now where did I put those new beads that I was going to try and melt LOL!!)

Just been for a wander through your blog first! Sounds as though your son's flat mates need to be a lot more tolerant and better behaved themselves! I do hope that things get better soon ! Not sure yet whether we will get to the crop -waiting for number 2 son to give us some dates, although I am aware time is ticking for booking somewhere....I'll have to pin him down I think! !! Both cards are fabulous, but I particularly love the leafy one as I'm very much in an Autumnal mood - Christmas will happen once Halloween and all the Autumn birthdays are out of the way! The wishes logos look very professional and it works really well cutting off it's bottom! Hope you have a good week, and many thanks for stopping by my blog,

Fantastic job. And too modest of you to say it did it for you - not so. Bet your ladies love them! The weather is really too perfectly autumnal too be thinking too hard about Christmas yet, I think!

Love the idea of only stamping part of the sentiment. Never thought of that! LOL Yep, I love the Birch embossing folder, too. On my list to purchase . Creative Blessings! Kelly #42

Yes, you accomplished it quite handsomely! I'm amazed at how different the same design can look just by changing the color scheme!
