Last Wednesday my view looked like this. We were about a third of the way up Ben Nevis at the time and I was photo bombed by a dog.*
This week the kitchen table is empty and there has been no time for crafting, of any kind, since we got back from Scotland. Luckily I’d prepared for my first card making class of the term before the children broke up.
We made this little box. Pink and ivory with a bit of kraft coloured ink and seam binding. One of my ladies was so chuffed with hers that she’s going to make them for her daughter’s wedding favours next year. I’m pretty chuffed with that.
Today I am going school shoe shopping with my girl, once my boy gets home with his timetable for the year ahead. Fingers crossed that all is as he expects. It will be the first time he hasn’t received it two weeks ahead of the start of term. Something the school do for children on the spectrum. I’ll be holding my breath ‘til then.
If it’s actual desks you want to see, then head on over to Julia’s place. You’ll be spoilt for choice.
* Another contender for #10 in the Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt

Pretty little box. And I've had no time at all this summer for the hunt, but am enjoying others pictures a great deal - like yours.
Ben Nevis? Blimey, that must have been tough going but many congrats for tackling it, photo bombing pooch or not!
That little box is lovely! As soon as I saw the pic, I though of wedding favours :-) the brown and pink works very well.
Good luck with the shoe shopping..... ;-)
Hugs, LLJ 24 xx
That box is lovely - and good for you to do your class before the holidays - I still haven't organised my September classes yet! oops. Ben Nevis looks lovely too - never been there but I did go to Snowdon this year which was lovely too. Sunshine Girl #17
Seam binding. Yum.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that everything is as he is hoping for
Hope all goes well for your son with timetabling and for your daughter at school. That view is breathtaking (nevermind the dog - lol!). I love that box. Thanks for sharing today. Hazel, WOYWW, #34 x
hello Fiona. Trust you get all the shoe shopping done, and the timetable is all your son would like it to be!! Congrats on Ben Nevis. Brilliant job! Typical of the little dog, huh? Still, it got you another one in the scavenger hunt. I'm not doing so well this year, as hubby has been so poorly, the car has hardly moved off the drive!!
Take care. God bless.

That box is so pretty - I am really looking forward to joining you for a class next month. I am struggling getting a photo bomb photo - my Dad is always wandering into photos unintentionally but when I want him to do it, it just doesn't happen LOL
Beautiful box - no wonder it impressed! Love the view btw! Hope the timetable is ok! Chris x 46

Pretty box and Scotland .... love it although I have only travelled round the west side. I am off to see Aberdeenshire soon.
Hope the shoe shopping wasn't too stressful.

Love the box. The children seem to be making their way back to school but all at different days but they should all be back as normal next week.

That's a gorgeous view. I take it all went well with the timetable? I'm not asking about the shoes as I know how that panned out!
