What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday? #215

I should probably rename these weekly sneaks at my work space. “What’s on your kitchen table Tuesday?” Doesn’t quite have the same ring to it though.

This is what was happening yesterday morning. I need a bunch of Thank you cards, so I’m taking one of the designs from last week’s class and running with it.

Embossing, stamping, die-cutting, paper piercing, inked edges. It’s all there. A touch of kraft and that script stamp. They get in everywhere. Originally, I just had the three colours in mind, but when I put it together it was lacking something, in my eyes. I added that tiny flower in blue instead of cream or kraft and it works for me.

The card I was fiddling with last week got finished in time. I know there’s not much time for clicking on links on Wednesdays, but if you’re so inclined, it’s here.

I’m joining Julia and all the other deskers today. How about you?

Wondering what the books are as I see they have numbers on the spine and can only read one of them.
Love the butterfly and what a great cad you have made. Production line?

Thanks for sharing - Hugs, Neet 14

That's beautiful! And yes I love that pop of colour in the middle. Loads of details but not fussy. Perfect!

Love the CAS cards, and I don't think you can go wrong using Kraft, white and a pop of color.

Hey Neet,

I'm pretty sure the books are the Lemony Snicket series. Love those! Have any of you listened to Tim Curry reading them? Hysterical. :-)

That card is absolutely gorgeous, so elegant.

Happy Woyww!

Even I, as a non cardmaker can see the work that has gone into the card..I like the toning colours and the way the text paper (?) is echoed in a couple of places. And I've decided I'm an embossing's really effective!
