This morning my desk was a table at the local Arts Centre. I taught a class of nine lovely ladies how to make a little box and two birthday cards in shades of pink.
We die cut these little girls from paper.....
.....layered them up and added to a stamped background. They remind me of Mable Lucie Atwell images fro my childhood. Sweet without being too cutesy.
Linking up with Julia and the Deskers this afternoon.

Aw, they're lovely cards, I bet the ladies enjoyed making them! You're right, they're sweet but not sickly. I wa thinking of you yesterday and wondering if A has left home for uni yet. Lovely place to go 💖

That sounds like an interesting class. Just love making boxes, books etc. Something very satisfying about it.

Ah, nice way to start back at the term! The images are very Mabel Lucy Attwell, and thats a lovely thing...this trend for nostalgia is very ongoing isn't it.
Such a cute card - that little lady bringing birthday cake would be most welcome in this house.
Indeed they are cute! Such soft colours ... Glad it was a success, your class. I always admire your enthusiasm and ability to come up with ideas week after week!
That's just what that gorgeous image reminds me of too. How lovely
