What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #401

The short answer is nothing. The kitchen table is empty today and by the time you read this I'll be driving to Gloucestershire with my girl. Her first university interview. Exciting times.

Here's what I was up to last week.....

.....a thank you card and this is what that stamped strip turned into.....

.....a little treat holder.

That's it from me. Linking up with Julia and the Deskers. Have a great day.

You always have clever little gift box ideas and that is no different! When I was at the Knit and Natter last week, they were knitting tiny little Christmas pudding covers in which to place a single Ferraro Rocher - they sold them for a £1 at the hospital last Christmas and made a mint for the breast care unit, so they're getting ahead of the game this year!
I would absolutely adore seeing you however it is quite a way over from Herefordshire, but if you want to come, it would be fantastic :-D

Good luck with the interview. My son doesn't seem to need them for his subject choice but we are popping along to Southampton on 16th for a visit to the department he has been offered. BJ#9

Love your card and holder. Scary time for mothers when their daughters are fleeing the nest. A friend of mines daughter finished at Gloucester last year she had been studying law.

More beautiful stamping Fiona, I do like the sketchy outlines and solid infill styles, really nice. And what a fab way to give a little treat. I hope the making of it for picture purposes didn't mean you had to sacrifice yourself and eat all the others?!!!

Oh good luck to your daughter. We had all that last year but it already seems so long ago. A stressful year!
