What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #383

Another Wednesday rolls around, all too quickly. Another class. Two more cards, each with a matching gift box.

This was the kitchen table on Monday afternoon, with sample making in progress. It's empty right now. We've had our porridge and will be off on the "school run" shortly. A 35 mile round trip, followed by 45 minutes to kill in town, before I can get into the venue and set up for class. Never fear, I'm armed with coffee and a book.

Linking with Julia and The Deskers this dark October morning.

PS I shared the matching card on Saturday, if you want to see it.

I've enjoyed seeing your new range of stuff, even if I'll never buy any! I think that if I did ever paper craft, your's would be the style I aimed for, sort of pared back and elegant. Love it! Hope the class goes well :-)

I really like that technique for the card-making. I haven't jumped on the card making bandwagon yet, but looking at your beautiful work makes me believe that it won't be much longer before I'm all over it. Ha! Thanks.

I am looking forward to seeing all that you do with this stamp set - it is just so versatile. I am sure you will share the finished box with us. Good luck with your early starts and all the running around that you have to do x

I am so glad I don't have the school run, the after school events etc anymore…I really used to miss them but as I have aged it is nice to dawdle over coffee and not have to plan. I love the card! I haven't bought that set yet…I just got a packet today with the cookie cutter bundle with the christmas and halloween stamps. I will probably be playing with that shortly! Have a great week. Thanks for stopping by my desk earlier. Vickie #1

Happy Belated WOYWW. That is a long way for the school run - it is about 11 miles each way from us. I used to occasionally have to do it for our stepkids (who are 26 and 23 now!). I was ok in the morning, but in the afternoon I would be crafting and totally forget to go and collect them from the school bus - and the bus driver would tell me off for being late! Lucky that I am not a mum!! Ali x #26
