What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #362

This is what the kitchen table looked like last time there were any crafty happenings around here. Sometime last week, when I broke out the glittery washi tape.

I haven't taken photos of the finished frames yet so I'll share the cards from last week's class. One of my ladies had requested ideas for friends turning 70 this year.

We started with pretty pastels, which don't appear often in my card making.....

....moved on to something bolder.....

.....and finished with an interactive spinner card.

Something for everyone. The biggest difficulty being which numbers to choose!

Linking up with Julia and the Deskers again today after a bit of a blogging break. My boy has had to interrupt his studies as the funding, for the help he desperately needs, is still not in place. He really didn't want to take this option but in the end he felt he had no other choice. My heart breaks for him.

Your cards are very nice. WOW 70, what a perfect card. I feel for your son. Hard but try to think of it as a stumble, not a fall & in stumbling we are still moving forward. Good thoughts over the pond ...

Hi Fiona, lovely assortment of cards. Such a shame for your son, but I'm sure he's made the best choice for himself. A positive outlook always helps things to go smoothly. Sending good luck thought. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #11 xx

Great cards there. What a pity for your son not to be able to continue with studies - let's hope the break turns out well. x Jo

I'm sorry to hear your son cannot continue his studies due to lack of funding! That is really sad.
Your cards are beautiful. The pastels are so effective even for the younger ages, where I normally would be inclined to use bolder colours. But it works very well. Well done.

love the cards, they just go to show that pastels can be adapted to any age or purpose! So sorry to hear about your son's studies, that is really hard and I know he had been having a struggle anyway. Hope something can be sorted soon. Helen #3

Love your cards! As for funding - it's such a shame that certain areas seem to suffer cuts more quickly than others! Hope something positive comes up for your son soon! Hugs, Chrisx 27
