What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #329

And just like that it's Wednesday again. Not one single creative thing has happened around here since last week, unless you count fitting everything that a boy might need, away from home, in the boot of a Ford Focus.

Here's that notelet holder I was kitting for last week.

Sized to hold a set of four cards. Tutorial to follow next week.

The sun is shining here and I'm not long back from dropping my girl off at the bus stop. It's an hour round trip for me so I made the most of the early start and did the weekly shop while I was out. I came home to an empty house for the first time in a very long time. Have a great day.

I think you need to go and do something. Ring up a friend and go and have coffee somewhere...housework etc can wait. I know what that empty house feeling is like.....
The notelet holder is lovely btw..it'd make a great prezzy :-)

Hi Fiona, well I just love the empty house...although I am a fair bit older and am used to it - but there is no-one about to check if you've gone back to bed with a good book or rushed the chores and spent the rest of the day at your desk, or just sat quietly over a coffee - I enjoy it. I too love the notecard holder, great gift idea too. Enjoy your week RobynO#29

The notelet holder looks fab - and must be useful as well. Make the most of the empty house! It must be weird at first, but it's definitely got its advantages! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #37

Love the idea of knitting a notelet holder! Don't love the idea of empty nesting. My daughter has lived at home while going to college, and I'm loving every moment of it, knowing that the nest will be empty someday. Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #40

That sounds pretty creative to me. I think I probably had half the amount of stuff our boy took. Actually, make that about a third..

Pretty holder

Once you get used to the empty house it can be absolute bliss! Yes, I've been there too and have laid the table for too many people too many times.....
The note holder is gorgeous. Look forward to the tutorial.
Have a good week,
