I’m joining in with Julia’s desk hop today (all the info can be found here) and my kitchen table actually has something to show for itself.
Checking through the supplies last night, before packing them for class this morning. Today’s technique is masking. Not something I’ve done very often in the past. Having matching dies makes it a whole lot easier than I remember.
The scraps of green I had, left over from cutting the card bases, were perfect to punch out a few hearts. I turned them into a four leaf clover to wish my nephew luck as he starts a new adventure. Can you believe I don’t have a good luck sentiment in my extensive collection of stamps? Out came the trusty Hero Arts letters to finish the job. A bit wonky, but I think that adds to charm.
I’ll be round to visit after lunch. Have a great day.

I don't mind wonky stamped lettering. I think it adds a certain charm.
Have a good week,

I really like the flower stamps and dies. I don't think I have a "Good Luck" stamp either. #17
Hope the class goes well... I think the wonky lettering is fine! bet if you'd had a good luck stamp, it would have been the wrong size!! Helen 11
Who needs a Good luck stamp, it looks great as you've done it.
Have a great time doing the masking and please share what you do.

Love the bright flower card.
I have not tried masking either but I love that color combination. I had not thought to fold a heart then put them together to create a 4 leaf clover. I did I not know that? Learned something new! Diane #26
Great colour palette xx
That's a perfect Good Luck card..next time you have some green scraps I'd make up a few more if I were you
How clever, your four leave clover!! Thank you for the inspiration!!

Hi Fiona, love the Good Luck card, brilliant idea to use the hearts. Dies do indeed make masking easier, I always seem to pick something stupidly intricate to mask! Thanks for all the good wishes, they really worked! Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #26 xx
Love the good luck card! So simple and so effective!
Happy WOYWW!

Hope the masking goes well - lots of lovely goodies there. Thanks for sharing today. Hope you have a great day and a lovely crafting week to come. Hazel, WOYWW #47 x
I love it, if it wasn't hand stamped, the card would prolly look as though you bought it, it's so perfect! I must say, I like masking as a technique and you're so right, the idea of having matching dies is tremendously painless! Love the colours you've got on the card, really cheerful.
Such a pretty floral card, love the colors you used on it. I have to try making one of those clovers now with a heart punch, such a fun and clean look! Winnie #36
Looks like fun activity going on there!
Love those colours on the first card, and the good luck one is great, too. Happy WOYWW, Chris # 29
