Snap! ~ 1,2,3,4

Helena's weekly photographic meme has evolved for 2016. This year the aim is to find a visually linked set of between two and four images. The weather here has been wet and windy, not offering many photo opportunities, while I've been out and about. I looked through my archive for January and came up with these.

Four cards made with the same stamp set and an increasing number of ink colours.

One

Two

Three

Four

The various shades of green and purple were achieved by stamping the leaves several times without re-inking.

These were the cards we made in class last week. A bright start to the year.

ETA It seems my first three cards fit the bill over at Daring Cardmakers this month. "Leaf it alone!" Making leaves the star of the show, rather than a foil to a floral design.

These are lovely Fiona and very effective. Makes me wish I was more artistic. Funny how a theme runs through one week. The patterns Helena has posted are like leaves too! What happened to your Christmas ornaments that you mentioned last week?

Beautiful cards - you are SO creative Fiona. What a great Snap collection. You really do make me want to try stamping, although if I did I'm sure I could use as a Snap - 4 of a kind mess (lol).

I couldn't believe you didn't join WOYWW this week, but was simply delighted you stopped by. I am just now learning how to stamp, so I'll be visiting a lot, I'm sure. You stamp SO well! Those cards are wonderful, and I'm glad you reshared them here.

love the cards. I'm going to try and make my cards in advance this year to stop the panic and actually enjoy making them!

Beautiful, Fiona! My first impression was that you printed the leaves instead of stamping them, you know with real leaves? It has that organic feel to it. Brilliant! Thanks for sending me the link!
