What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday? #221

No crafty happenings at the kitchen table today, or anywhere else for that matter. I do have lots of plans for when the children go back to school next week. I’ll have to content myself with *thinking* about sewing this week, while I’m catching up with everything else that got neglected during most of August.

I had to go to Shaftesbury this morning to make a delivery. While I was there I popped into the new charity shop in town. I came out with a lovely linen skirt and a king size cotton duvet cover. The cover is a good weight and will be ideal for making reusable shopping bags. I need a bit of straight line sewing, to get me back into the groove, before I embark on a more exciting project.

Join up with Julia and the gang and show us what you’ve got going on right now.

That's a great idea for bags! I'm going to miss the freedom from routine but I sure am looking forward to getting my craft on again next week!

Happy Belated WOYWW. Fab charity shop finds. That duvet cover will make loads of bags. I have enrolled on a beginners sewing machine course at the end of September. Had my machine for over a year and only played with it for a few minutes - the shame! Ali x #91

That skirt looks good, love the design.

I can't get my mojo going with my sewing, it is all sitting in the back lounge waiting ....... and making me feel guilty!!!
