What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday? #209

Another week between blog posts. I can’t blame exam season this time though, well only in part. I had a very busy weekend meeting up with lovely new friends as well as some very old ones. Both occasions brought about by the power of the internet. Don’t you just love that?

Nothing very exciting on the kitchen table this afternoon. I didn’t get much out, because I knew I didn’t have long to play with it. I’m designing the front panel for an easel card. That will be a project for next week’s class. I’ve not made one before, but they are surprisingly simple. A colour scheme of kraft, buttery yellow and chocolate brown with a hint of vanilla. Sounds good enough to eat!

My girl will be bursting through the front door any minute now so I’ll be round to visit later. Pop over to Julia’s place to find out what everyone else has been up to.

PS More on that busy weekend soon.

It was so fab to see you at the crop, Fiona....I'm glad that you enjoyed the day. I know I did though I hardly seemed to talk to anybody, the day went by so fast. I liked the photo of you and the handsome boys on Gold Hill...you had a busy weekend!

How wonderful that you got to join in the fun crop, Fiona! I'm so jealous! Your easel card beginning looks great ... I'm thinking if you put it in the oven, you'll end up with cookies with those ingredients! Yum!

I hope you have a wonderful week! xxoo Darnell (I'm just visiting this week, so no no.)

Fiona, it was so great to meet you and have such a wonderful day with everyone. I'm loving the colour scheme you're going to use in your class project. It does sound scrummy, and I may have to try it out.

Happy belated WOYWW and thank you again for helping Saturday be wonderful.
