What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday #179

I taught another class this morning and I figured you probably wouldn’t want to see my kitchen table all piled up with supplies for a third time, so I’ll show you my ironing board instead.

Remember that transfer paper we were going to experiment with during half term? Well here is the result. One of my daughter’s drawings transferred to the front of a T-shirt. How cool is that? She loves it and I have to prise her out of it for purposes of hygiene! Luckily she is at school today, so I’ve been able to wash it.

There’s a little pile of fabric waiting to be ironed and made into hexies. One of you may recognise it. Mentioning no names. More details on that in yesterday’s post.

My children will be rushing through the door at any minute so I’ll be round to visit some desks this evening. You can see them all at Julia’s place.

What a clever girl! One of my sons made a bag with his design on at school. He gave it to me as he was too embarrassed to use it!

Take care

Awesome T shirt - great drawing that has transferred so well!
And it's great to see the fabric :) I just hope it fits the teal colour of the quilt. No worries if it doesn't!!

That's an awesome t-shirt - what a brilliant tartist she is! I know my daughter would love to do the same. Was it really easy to do? Any tips?

Wow that is brilliant no wonder she doesn't want to take it off, she must be so proud of it! I have the same problem with my youngest whenever he gets a new shirt with his current obsession on it (currently Minecraft) and I always have to wash it quickly while he is at school :)

Brilliant! She'll be going into business next..

Outstanding! She has to be so proud of that! It's a wonder you can get it off her!

How awesome is that. To wear your own art work. : )

Never mind how clever it is to actually get it on the t shirt...her artwork is utterly awesome! No wonder she wants to wear it and wear it!!!

Love the shirt! In many years when she's done wearing it you'll have to preserve it in a quilt for her :)
