Alphanumeric Blog Hop ~ Eulogy

I had lots of ideas for my letter, including Easter and eggs, which would have been topical. Then my cousin died unexpectedly yesterday and I wanted to make my post about her. I hope nobody minds.

When I was a little girl, I thought my cousin was like a princess. She was kind and beautiful and I loved her.

Mostly I will remember her….

….walking by the river with me, during those endless childhood summers.

….dancing, around my Gran’s sitting room, to the Top 40 on a Sunday evening.

….drawing the most amazing pictures I could imagine.

….looking so grown up and glamorous, with her Farrah Fawcett hairstyle.

….letting me have a sip of her Cinzano and (nearly all) lemonade at Christmas.

….just being there.

Rest in peace my beautiful cousin xx
