Summertime Photo Scavenger Hunt 2015 #3

Final few shots for Rinda's Scavenger Hunt.

2. An ornate door knocker

Not particularly ornate, but certainly unusual!

5. Architectural columns

The terrace at Orchardleigh House.

6. A metal bridge

Bridge over the River Avon in Bristol.

And that makes nine items from the list. Not even half. I'll try harder next year!

Summertime Photo Scavenger Hunt 2015 #2

A few more shots taken for Rinda's fun scavenger hunt.

1. A bouquet of flowers

My niece's bridal bouquet.

10. A college or university

We've visited many colleges and universities over the last year, but this was the only one I've been near during the time frame of the hunt. Neither of my children will be studying any of these subjects!

17. At least two people wearing matching outfits or uniforms

As soon as saw this item on the list, I knew my niece's wedding would provide me with the ideal photo opportunity. What a lovely colour scheme she picked. Don't you think?

Six down, fifteen to go. I have taken a few more, but hoping to get some better shots to replace them. I know some folk have already completed the list already, but there's plenty of time yet.

Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt 2015

Rinda's brilliant Scavenger Hunt has become a much anticipated part of our Summer holidays now. I've got an earlier start this year, with school being done already for us, and I captured my first few finds while we were away on holiday last week.

4. People playing a board game or card game.

A family game of Munchkin. A new one to us. Bought to reward all the hard work put in during exam season. Always a stickler for the rules, My Boy was just checking a move.

16. A panoramic view, taken while standing someplace high in the air.

A view from the highest point of Dinefwr castle.

20. A natural body of water.

Beautiful Rhossili Bay, viewed from the coastal path at the beginning of our walk.

I have a good idea where I might find a few others on the list and, as always, there are some that may prove more of a challenge. Bring it on.
