What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #303

It’s been a couple of weeks since I last blogged. I seem to have fallen out of the groove lately. Here’s what the kitchen table looked like yesterday afternoon.

Finishing off class samples ready for this morning. This is what happens when something is niggling at me and I try to ignore it, but in the end have to change it.

What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #301

Back to reality here, after a lovely weekend away in Herefordshire. I spent most of my time yesterday feeding the washing machine so no time for crafting. Instead my daughter was busy at the kitchen table, adding to her Art coursework.

She has a whole bunch of characters, but this one is herself.

I do have one thing of my own to share with you. This is the other card that I had kits for, on my “desk” last week. I just used one colour of inkpad and was really pleased with the ombre effect, as the colour faded with repeated stamping.

Me on Monday ~ The Hereford Edition

It was a packing up of the car and driving into the middle of nowhere sort of weekend.

It was a swapping of hugs and little gifts sort of weekend.

It was an eating of cakes and laughing ‘til our ribs ached sort of weekend.

It was a stitching of rabbits and misheard lyrics sort of weekend.

It was a shared with friends, old and new, sort of weekend. The very best kind.

What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #300

Wow! Today marks 300 editions of our weekly desk hopping shenanigans.

On this particular Wednesday morning I was making use of a different work space. The sofa. I’d prepared the kits and gathered together the supplies for class. I like to leave everything where I can see it, ready for one final check, before packing in my rolling crate. The kitchen table is not the ideal place, when everyone is wanting their breakfast on a school morning.

This is one of the cards we made, using the Lotus Blossom stamp set. I love the way it layers up, in three steps, to create a very detailed image. The individual stamps are clear so it’s relatively easy to line them up.

I’ve got more packing to do this afternoon, in preparation for a crafty weekend away in Herefordshire. I cannot wait. Happy 300th WOYWW to you all.
