Me on Monday ~ The Barons Edition

Sian just popped up in my blog reader, reminding me that it's Monday, despite all indications to the contrary!

It's been another damp weekend here and we've mostly spent it at home getting organised for the changes that are ahead. We found the time, yesterday, for a little trip out. "Back to School" shopping and a Baron hunt.

Today the rest of the family went visiting, while I prepared for this week's classes and caught up on the washing backlog. My back is improving, but I didn't fancy another bumpy car journey into deepest Somerset! If you'd popped in earlier you would have found me surrounded by all the things that can't go in the tumble drier.

Another busy week coming up. Hope it's a good one for you.

Those Barons are quite extraordinary. Who would have thought a Baron could look so different. I know the feeling of the wet washing.... My girl has another week to go before she returns to school.

I, too, went through the back-to-school wash week (yes, it took a week!). Lots of bedding needing attention, as well as all the things they never bothered to unpack and get washed in the Spring.

You certainly did the right thing in resting your back. Although washing probably wasn't the highlight of your day lol. I must admit my tumble dryer has been on for most of the day too

I'm holding off on the washing in the hope that we might have some line drying weather in a few days time. Schools go back very soon so surely that means that the weather will go glorious again??

Not heard of the Barons - will investigate those. Hope your back is feeling much better now, I am off to be cranked back into shape shortly!!

have a good week xx

I hope your back continues to improve over the week. Yep, we woke up this morning..and it just felt like September. TSO said "I can't believe it, it actually looks crisp out there"

Really like your Barons. Between Barons and Sheep, G.B. is populated with some amazing characters. Hoping that your back settles quickly and that you have a great week.
