My return to dressmaking. A dress with pockets? Oh yes! Just looking at that French seam finishing makes me happy.

I’ll be back tomorrow with My Month in Numbers and more on the dress next week.

Since I do not sew, I really appreciate those that do. I can't believe how nice the work looks on the inside!

Looking lovely! I remember making a nightdress in VIth Form sewing group. It was fine rayon lawn and frayed so easily. So, every seam was a French seam... took ages. But I loved that nightdress and it was So worth the extra effort. And, it didn't fall apart!

Show us the finished dress, please?

It's been years since I stitched a French seam. I used to love to sew, but I gave it up quite a while ago.
