Another late appearance this week. It’s the school holidays here and I’m making the most of being able to spend time with my children. They had friends over this afternoon, so I took the opportunity to use up all the scraps left over from the cards I made at the weekend.
Here are a couple of the resulting cards. Only 3 x 3” and very quick to put together. I have some brads and ribbons, like the ones in the picture, to give away and it’s open until midnight Friday. You just need to be a follower and leave a comment here.
The peg bag from last week is on hold as I seem to have misplaced a vital part of my sewing machine. No doubt it will turn up somewhere unexpected.
Head on over to Julia’s place to see what everyone else has been up to today.

What pretty cards you've made. Enjoy your time with your family.

These are very delicate and pretty - and you've done well to get anything done with children around!
It's nice to have the children home from school, but also rather nice to get a bit of "me time" as well!
Lovely cards - I do like what you did with the die-cut butterfly!

Time spent with your kids is such an investment - when they're 19 and 16, like my boys are, it's so different. They're still gorgeous but are following their own path - miss young, wriggling snuggles sometimes... but their sense of humour is completely fantastic and their gags and wordplay leave me in stitches!!
I absolutely adore that butterfly card, the colours, the textures, everything - it's YUM!

I have been getting my boys involved in the kitchen, which is amazing for me because I am a control freak!
Yesterday Michael (11) made a fruit cake for my Dad and George(14) made a sponge cake for us. Today Michael made another fruit cake for my Auntie and Cousin and Limoncello(!) for us!!!
I'd rather that than get let them loose in my card stash!

I hope that sewing machine part turns up soon :)
What a perfect size these lovely little cards are. I'm in a very miniature mood today!
