What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday? #162

Hello, hello! Very late in the day, but I’ve been out and about ‘til now. Dropping my son off at his work experience placement. A 20 mile round trip. Home again to pick up my girl and take her to the eye clinic in Dorchester. A 60 mile round trip. Back home, then out again to pick up the worker. I’m glad to be home.

I’ve just got time, before I start cooking the dinner, to assemble a whole bunch of cards. They are for swaps at our team training on Sunday. The flowers are pale pink on white and I couldn’t get them to show up very well. Best get on with the gluing.

If you want to see more desks, or share your own, then go visit Julia, the queen of crafty spaces.

Gosh, you've had a busy day! Hope your daughter is ok.

You've been very floral recently, like the ones on your desk today and I think your card on the previous post is very pretty indeed. If that's your quickie go-to card to make, then you're onto a winner!!

Aww....stamps and matching punch! Wow, what a good idea... (want...)

The cards are going to be nice, I think (may we see them when they're done?).

I just posted my Wednesday Worktable too (at 9 in the evening!). Got a good excuse for the lateness, honest! Luckily I didn't have to do any driving today - poor you! We did stay in Chelmsford over the weekend though, because James had a workshop weekend near the city and it's 100 miles away. He had to be there by 8pm on Friday... I didn't fancy driving all the way there (M25, Friday traffic, roadworks!), then 100 miles home (would I have made it to bed before midnight?)... then do it all again on Sunday afternoon. So, me and Dave treated ourselves to a nice weekend break. Ages since we had a weekend away together -just us two, no boy... It was a nice weekend.
Hope the rest of your week is less exhausting and that you have a restful weekend.
Don't forget to show off your finished cards?

I lent that punch and stamp from a friend. Found I used the punch lots (on my wish list now) the stamp set I found hard to use. I really liked the flower punched in pattern paper it is so pretty. Will be looking for your finished flowers. Sandy :)
