It's Half Term here and I'm enjoying a break from all the usual driving. In fact my car is currently in pieces on the drive. The brake shoe broke on Sunday afternoon. Thankfully as I was backing onto our drive and not out and about with passengers.
This is how the kitchen table looked last time I did anything crafty.
Stamping up a bunch of ink samples, to show off the new colours.....
.....and some brown paper to wrap a gift.
Linking up with
Julia and the Deskers. Happy Wednesday.
Spooky coincidences! Half term (check), brake problems with car (check). Mine went in for its MOT today and needs a new caliper on one of the rear brakes (I had the other one done a short time ago). I like the bee stamp that you used on the wrapping paper; seems very apt in light of recent events. Happy WOYWW Sarah #22
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that your car played up when you were at home not on some country lane somewhere! Hopefully it won't be too expensive to fix. The colour samples are rather lovely and their names aren't too outlandish either, some do make me laugh - I always want to make up weirder ones. Do you think SU or TH would give me a job as Title Maker-Upperer?!

What a fabulous idea to have colour charts for ink pads - so useful. Being a little bit obsessed with lime green I love the Lemon and Lime Twist. Hope the car is soon feeling better,
ReplyDeleteHave a good week,

ReplyDeleteI love the idea of using brown paper for gift wrap - the little bee is the perfect stamp for it. x Jo
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of the brown paper wrapping with the bees! Awesome! I always over-decorate things like that when this is so much better. Nice new colors! Thanks for sharing, Lindart #41
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant table of creativity.
ReplyDeleteNice to see the bumble bee - appeared this week as a sign for unity in Manchester.
Have a super week.
