Nothing much happening, on the crafty front, at the kitchen table this week. I do have a couple of things to share.
Here's what all those bits and bobs on last week's desk turned into.
A card themed for a wedding, although that versatile sentiment makes it suitable for any number of occasions I think. Minimal stamping, along with a couple of die cut pieces, made this a relatively quick card to put together.
This one has a layer of embossed vellum, which prevented me from getting a decent photo. Underneath is a stamped panel, that the camera refused to pick up when photographing the whole card. I've given you a close up instead so that you can see it. With the added bonus of showing off that pretty die cut band.
Linking up with Julia and Deskers this cold and frosty morning.
Hi Fiona, yes, that sentiment could be used for many occasions, it's always good when products are versatile. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #1 XxXx
ReplyDeleteSo lovely, and yes, the stamped panel underneath does show up on my computer---subtle but beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards. I too can see the stamping underneath, it's like a camisole under a dress, so pretty with just a hint peaking through. A day to celebrate is my favourite sentiment because I like to celebrate anything & everything :)
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty cards - I can just see the stamping under the vellum, subtle and beautiful. I love the sentiment and it's so useful when you can use it for different occasions.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week,

Well, that turned out to be a beauty eh?! So delicate and pretty..the little embossed hearts are really lovely. Fancy your boy turning 20, we have known each other a long time...I remember when he was doing GCSEs 😊

It IS pretty! :) I may have to steal this idea when making the wedding album for my niece later this year - I'd never thought of embossing on vellum. Thank you for sharing :)
