It's going to be short and sweet today as I'm heading out the door shortly for the school run. I also have a class this morning and the venue is between there and here. Not much point coming home only to turn straight back round again.
It's all butterflies and ditsy flowers this week. An antidote to the endless rain and rumbling thunder.
I shared the little box we made a couple of weeks ago and here are the cards.....
Two quite different looks from the same set and background stamp.
If you're interested in cloth dolls you might like to check out what I got up to at a workshop with Jan Horrox at the weekend.
Linking up with the Deskers.....
Awesome cards! I wish I had gotten that background stamp. blessings, donna #2

We just missed a rolling storm. We needed the rain, but thankful for no hail or wind damages. Heat and humidity has been in the 90's so was inevitable. Love your butterflies and flowers stamping. Also adorable cards. Have a lovely week. #18

We had gotten pretty hot and dry here in Tennessee but yesterday there was dark clouds and thunder and then rain....blessed rain! My garden sighed and said "thank you". It's always to hear what season it is where everyone lives. We are scattered all over. Happy WOYWW!
ReplyDeleteLovely cards, and I'm completely taken with the background stamp - I thought you had rollered the paint on until I saw the paint marks were the same on both! That is definitely a useful stamp for the stash. I'm off to visit your link to the dolls now - hope you have a lovely week,

Hi Fiona, lovely cards. Not much thunder up here, but we've had plenty of showers., I think the fact that we're ina bit of a geographical dip between the Malverns on one side, and the Lickey Hills on the other mean we miss most Thunderstorms. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #5 xxx
ReplyDeleteI like the dandelion seed heads blowing away on the second card. I guess they are nature's balloons. Hope you had fun at your class.
ReplyDeleteSweet cards. Happy Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great background stamp. That one would save me a lot of trailing downstairs to look for the paintbrush I left last time I cleaned off a painty background!
ReplyDeleteVery cute birthday cards. I have that stamp set - you have inspired me to use it!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
