Today was one of those days that went a little bit askew at the start and then unravelled from there. You know the kind. I was planning to dust off my poor neglected sewing machine and catch up with some overdue projects, but that didn’t happen. Here’s what did.
A batch of simple “Thank you” tags to pop in with customer parcels. Very quick to do. Cut 2” strips of card to the appropriate length, punch, stamp and thread with twine. If yours has a kink in it, like mine does, from being wrapped round a card, just run it over a bone folder and it will smooth back out.
Linking up with Julia for the usual mid week desk sharing.
That's a great idea.
ReplyDeleteWell, I've made a new vow to always try and visit the last blogger on the linky list! I find that the later in the day I get my desk posted, the less visitors I have! We must all do something about this! Your thank-you tags are adorable. I keep a tag punch at my office to use on old file folders. At home I have a tag die-cut--so, I guess I'm pretty crazy about tags! Have a great week. Sandy Leigh #54
ReplyDeleteYou snuck in at the midnight hour! Lovely tags there! Simple and funky....just like me ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I'm ashamed of my woolly mountain but am taking steps to rectify the situation, lol!!
Hugs, LLJ 20 xx
They're lovely Fi
ReplyDeleteIt was interesting what Sandy said. As often as I can I try and visit most of the WOYWW blogs. Occasionally I can't but always visit those who visit me.
ReplyDeleteI do start at no.1 but will often stop and go to the end if I run out of time, after all it's not their fault if they are towards the end as sometimes it depends on what country you live in as to when you post.
Happy crafting, Angela x
I also try to visit everybody, and sometimes I start at the bottom. Not this time though.
ReplyDeleteThose thank-you tags are beautiful!
Sorry I'm a day late but I just didn't have the time.
Have a good week!

Hi Fiona,
ReplyDeleteOh, I know how quickly days can turn. If you happen to visit my WOYWW post check out the last photo! Yikes.
Your thank you tags are great. What a nice way to let your customers know you appreciate them!
Happy belated WOYWW
Peace, Kay (66)
What nice tags, and nice of you to include with orders to your customers.
ReplyDeleteRe: visiting everyone: I never get everyone visited. I try to do as many as I can, and always everyone who visits me. I hop all over the place. Try to do the ones at the end, because that is usually where I am. LOL #28
I can only visit on the weekends now that i am back teaching. I do try to visit the 10 in front of me and 10 behind (I read somewhere that you should do this). I like the idea of the thank you tags, nice special touch! Diane #43
ReplyDeleteoooo lovely tags - will I be lucky enough to get one in my parcel ;)

Love your tags, Fiona. That's a great stamp. Simple but effective. I've had one of those days too - you wouldn't believe how long it took me to make a simple card this afternoon... hair tearing time lol!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW,
