This is the sight that greeted me, at 6am, on the kitchen table.
Two sample cards, on a wedding theme, with their respective kits, in the box at the back. All the stamps, punches, inks that will be needed. Now packed in their boxes too. I think I have mentioned before my need to pack on the morning, which fills some of you with horror. If I do it in advance, I drive to class with nagging thoughts, of forgotten items, in my head. I like the inventory process, in the morning, with a cuppa. I’ll share the finished projects later in the week.

Beautiful cards and I tend to pack a week before, could never cope doing it just before I leave.

Mwahahaha...well, if I had to break my fabric embargo, then do it in style, huh??! That grey leaf is a really heavy duty furnishing cotton from B&R Fabrics in Salisbury. It was £17 a metre..ulp!!!!!! But, it is glorious. In the same colourway, they had an elephant design which I was sorely tempted by. But only so much money and so little time....sigh!

ReplyDeleteI tend to be a 'pack the night before' person or I panic about not having everything....especially if I suddenly have to leave early to rush DD2 to work because she overslept [as on Tuesday]!

LOL yep I couldn't pack on the day - but I always have a packing list for crops/classes so I can cross everything off as it gets packed and a quick glance at my list in the morning tells me that everything has been packed. Look forward to seeing the cards later in the week x

I admire your organisation in the morning .... Me? I'd probably pack the night before and then check it all over again in the morning :(. I like the subtle shades on your cards - look forward to seeing the rest.

ReplyDeleteIt's a preference to pack in the morning..the reason I most often don't is that I don't allow myself enough time and that panic is worse than any bad dream about forgetting stuff! The card I can see looks quite lovely Fiona.
