One Photo in Twenty Words ~ Buttercups

Does this mean the grass needs cutting? Can’t really call it a lawn. The fields underneath are making a comeback.

  5. I love all the little flowers that pop up in a lawn - even the dandelions - I get quite sad when Mr P mows and they all go.

  8. Ah, now some of the comments about your buttercups on other blogs make sense! They are lovely ... we had loads last year but dandelions reign supreme this year.

  14. Reminds me of being a child and holding buttercups under your chin, if you saw a reflection of yellow it meant you liked butter!

  20. Love this picture. We used to have these in our yard all the time when I was little. I was crushed when Dad explained one day that they are weeds.
