No crafty happenings at the kitchen table today, or anywhere else for that matter. I do have lots of plans for when the children go back to school next week. I’ll have to content myself with *thinking* about sewing this week, while I’m catching up with everything else that got neglected during most of August.
I had to go to Shaftesbury this morning to make a delivery. While I was there I popped into the new charity shop in town. I came out with a lovely linen skirt and a king size cotton duvet cover. The cover is a good weight and will be ideal for making reusable shopping bags. I need a bit of straight line sewing, to get me back into the groove, before I embark on a more exciting project.
Join up with Julia and the gang and show us what you’ve got going on right now.
Enjoy planning your crafting over the next week before the kids go back to school!

Happy Belated WOYWW. Fab charity shop finds. That duvet cover will make loads of bags. I have enrolled on a beginners sewing machine course at the end of September. Had my machine for over a year and only played with it for a few minutes - the shame! Ali x #91
