A few of my quirkier shots for you today, although some might say, two of them are just down right cheating! See what you think.
20. A dinosaur: the little known Gromitasaurus
9. Something out of place: a nest tucked away in the entrance tunnel at Stonehenge
6. Someone/thing taking a nap: a sleepy fox spotted in a Bristol street
9. Again! A sofa perched dockside. On the far left is a reconstruction of The Matthew
11. An animal in a zoo, aquarium etc: A dog fish at Bristol aquarium
So….cheating or being creative with the prompts? What’s the quirkiest photo you’ve taken so far in the hunt? I’m hoping to catch up on everyone’s progress soon.
ETA: Rinda is hosting a link up on her blog this weekend. Go and see her dinosaurs, they are amazing.
Lol love the sofa by the sea! Bit like our neighbours who have a three piece suite as their garden furniture lol!
ReplyDeleteI think they're great. Love the Gromits
ReplyDeleteI love the creative finds! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Rinda's pictures of a piano down on a beach.
ReplyDeleteCall it lateral thinking :)
ReplyDeleteI love it :) If I can't find a plane soon I'll be making one out of paper!
ReplyDeleteThey work and they made me laugh so I say go with them. Surely the whole point of the hunt is to see what we come up with and to see what each of us thinks of. I'm darned sure that if I can use a picture of a packet of Bernard Matthews turkey dinosaurs you can have the much nicer Gromitasaurus
ReplyDeleteVery creative, is what I say! Love the sofa by the sea.
ReplyDeleteLove the Gromitosaurus! - and the dog fish. Nothing was said about having to be real....was it?? I think they are brill.

Hello from Virginia USA
ReplyDeleteyour photo finds are very clever...dh and I recently got to visit Stonehenge for the first time but it was only about our third day in the UK and we were floating on air and missed the birds nest in the tunnel ;)
SO enjoyed visiting your country and I am amazed at how many UK Scavenger Hunt participants there are = Fun!!!

ReplyDeleteAt the start of the holiday Bristol and the Gromit trail were on our to do list. DD has since changed her mind so thanks for sharing these two photos. I think it may be as close as I get!
ReplyDeleteThere is not cheating - there is only creative fun! I love the sofa by the sea! I think my dinosaurs are pretty quirky, as are all my cloud photos.

ReplyDeleteI think you have been very creative with your photos, I love them x
ReplyDeleteI love the Gromit photo's very quirky. A great selection of photo's
ReplyDeleteA fun bunch of photos and I love the creative twist the scavenger hunt allows for. Sometimes you have to get creative in order to satisfy the prompt!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots and creative license which is definitely allowed.
ReplyDeleteI just wish the Gromit's were a longer term addition - or that Princess had chosen a uni near by as we'd have so much fun searching for 'em :)
I love your Dinosaur! Great finds - are you nearly finished?
