The short answer is nothing. The kitchen table is empty today and by the time you read this I'll be driving to Gloucestershire with my girl. Her first university interview. Exciting times.
Here's what I was up to last week.....
.....a thank you card and this is what that stamped strip turned into.....

That treat holder is such a clever idea! I love it. Hope all goes well in Gloucestershire, exciting times indeed! Happy crafting, Max #27
ReplyDeleteYou always have clever little gift box ideas and that is no different! When I was at the Knit and Natter last week, they were knitting tiny little Christmas pudding covers in which to place a single Ferraro Rocher - they sold them for a £1 at the hospital last Christmas and made a mint for the breast care unit, so they're getting ahead of the game this year!
ReplyDeleteI would absolutely adore seeing you however it is quite a way over from Herefordshire, but if you want to come, it would be fantastic :-D
Hugs, LLJ 18 xxxx

Now that's clever, your little treat holder! Wishing your daughter every success. I am a day late - how did it go?
ReplyDeleteLove your card and holder. Scary time for mothers when their daughters are fleeing the nest. A friend of mines daughter finished at Gloucester last year she had been studying law.
ReplyDeleteThat card is gorgeous Fiona! And good luck to your girl with the interviews!
ReplyDeleteMore beautiful stamping Fiona, I do like the sketchy outlines and solid infill styles, really nice. And what a fab way to give a little treat. I hope the making of it for picture purposes didn't mean you had to sacrifice yourself and eat all the others?!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful stamped card and gift - I love the stamp. Hope the uni trip went well - definitely exciting times. x Jo
ReplyDeleteHi Fiona, what a lovely little treat holder - such a good idea. Your stamping is beautiful - the colouring is very nice. Hope your daughter's interview went well. Have a great week. Elizabeth x #21

ReplyDeleteOh good luck to your daughter. We had all that last year but it already seems so long ago. A stressful year!
