Here we are in that strange no man's land between Christmas and New Year. When you don't really know which day of the week it is. Luckily, Julia popped up in my news feed this morning, reminding me that is in fact Wednesday today.
There was a small crafty project on the go yesterday afternoon and I took a quick snap at the kitchen table. That tiny baby that we welcomed into the family last December is now a whole year old. I know, I can't believe it either.
Lovely wrapping. Hope you all enjoy the big birthday.

great parcel wrapping. I only know what day it is from the Radio Times... and Julia of course! Happy New Year. Helen #1
ReplyDeleteHi Fiona, I too generally keep myself organised around WOYWW! Especially important to keep track of Wednesdays, as I need to put the bin out in the evening, lol, ready for Thursday collection. It is amazing how fast the time goes, I agree. A year seems to go past in a hearbeat. Have a good week, and Happy New Year, Hugs, Shaz #3 xx
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW and Happy New Year for Sunday. I love that wrapping and simple tag. Our eldest granddaughter is 3 next month (the other is 2 in April - and we have another on the way in June) - they grow up far too fast. Ali x #14
ReplyDelete"strange no man's land between Christmas and New Year, when you don't really know which day of the week it is" that is so true! That's exactly what it feels like! Lovely packaging of the pressie - if you thought the first year went fast - wait until the next few - they will go even faster! Best wishes for 2017! zsuzsa #15

I like your stamped tag. I think I need to pull out my stamping supplies & reassess stamping.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful way to celebrate with more light especially birthday candles for wishing upon - I know he's only a year but I bet his parents have lots of happy wishes for him. Happy new year!
Love those tags! Thanks for sharing all this loveliness! I am a bit late and happy to see all these familiar names.

Time sure does seem to fly, Fiona. Especially the older I get. How lovely that the baby is now a year old for Christmas. Not yet old enough to really know what the fuss is all about but old enough to enjoy the wrapping paper on all his presents. Love the tags. I wish you a good New Year and health, wealth and happiness in 2017. Elizabeth x #27
ReplyDeleteAh... beautifully wrapped. I hope someone takes a photo or at least keeps your little tag for him :).
