Another week, another Wednesday. A kitchen table full of busyness, readying myself for class. The natural order has been restored.
Somebody remarked in the last session that it was easy to create lovely projects if you had access to the amount of supplies that I do. I may have taken that as a bit of a challenge. This week I limited myself to one stamp set, one colour of cardstock, two inks and two punches.
I'm really pleased with this little box. It took me a while to figure it out how to do what I had in my head. I got there in the end.
Linking up with Julia and the Deskers and wishing you a happy Wednesday.
you met your challenge so well! love the colour too. Helen #1
ReplyDeleteLove the pale blue colour Fiona, & well done for sticking to your own challenge.

I's be really pleased with that box too, my favourite colour. BJ was #4, then #16, finally #17 but could end up as #15 if my incorrect links are removed - what am I like!
ReplyDeletegreat challenge of limiting your supplies. happy WOYWW from Vicky #10
ReplyDeleteFunnily enough, I would never have though of you as someone with a humongous stash, you always seem to world so neatly with very few essentials! Love that butterfly stamp, so pretty!!

That looks really lovely. What talent you have Fiona!
ReplyDeleteWell done that is a lovely project and I am impressed with how few products you used. Just goes to show creative genius always wins.

Well, the converse of that argument is sometimes when you have a lot of stuff you can't decide what to use!! Neat little box. Sometimes less IS more!! Happy Wednesday, Cindy #29
ReplyDeleteSweet little box.. you tackled the challenge head on. Elaine no. 24
ReplyDeleteLove this - SU is so versatile no matter if using 1 or 20 stamps and colors. I always love what you do for your classes. Take care Zo xx 35
ReplyDeleteHi Fiona, love the colour you used, a pale lavender, isn't it? Great stamp too. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #8 xxx
ReplyDeleteA sweet little box and what a lovely stamp. Barbx #26
ReplyDeleteI could have a shop of craft stuff and still not make things as pretty as you :)
ReplyDeleteThere are so many fab items on WOYWW today! Your little boxes are beautiful! x Jo
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a lovely stamp and a beautiful colour. All the supplies in the world can't make up for a pair of hands with a knack for putting them together
ReplyDeleteLovely box. Love the colours.

It looks very delicate and pretty. Having lots of supplies is neither here nor there - it's the skill and imagination which count :). You have both in abundance.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely box! Yes, we should challenge ourselves! My problem is that I forget about lots of things I have, so they never get used. I want to challenge myself to start using them.
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous box Fiona, love it. I'm not sure that it matters how much stuff you have, it's what you do with it that matters. I know people who have very little yet their art work is gorgeous because they are so imaginative with what they have.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a great crafty week and a belated woyww, Angela x 25
So pretty - I love that stamp set. Look forward to when you can do the full reveal of what you made in class x
ReplyDeleteLove that color and that paper.
ReplyDeleteLovely & nice that you took the challenge, but I do agree with Alexa, it is not the supplies that makes the creation, it is your talent that creates. The box looks very lacey.
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing, it doesn't look handmade! x
ReplyDeleteStunning Fi. Actually I was only thinking today that sometimes the more products and stash we have, I wonder if we become less creative. Almost like overload
