What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #336

What's happening at the kitchen table today? Quite a bit, as it happens.

I've just finished kitting for a weekend workshop. A fairly new venture for me. I get quite a lot of enquiries from people who can't make it to my day time sessions, during the week, as they work full time. If they are willing to host, and have enough friends who are interested, then I take the class to them. It's a pretty good solution.

The cards you've seen before, if you visited last week. Here's a closer look at the gift box. I did a tutorial for it earlier this year, if you fancy making some. Very simple and you can get two from a sheet of A4 card. Patterned paper works well, as long as it's a decent weight, and saves on stamping, but that's my favourite part.

Time for a coffee and a Danish, while I visit Julia and The Deskers.

  6. Lovely cards & bag. When I opened up your blog page this morning, it made me feel very festive (good thing)& just last night I sorted through the box of Christmas gift bags & paper. I have so many boring plain bags, so your example gives me some inspiration (good thing). Thanks.

  8. Lovely cards on the desk there, Fiona, and what a great little bag! Have fun at the workshop teaching those.
Thanks for visiting - 300plus does seem a bit excessive, doesn't it, but over half have gone to our church charity, Parental Care Ministries.
    Take care. God bless.

  10. Hi Fiona, really do like those wreath cards. The weekend workshops sound like a great idea, hope they go well. Yes, I'm a sucker for Lavinia stamps, lol. At least now I can negotiate the stairs I can do some crafting instead of reading and surfing the net to pass the time. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #7 xxx

  16. I've been more miss than hit with WOYWW lately, but so nice to get back to it - I still love your style. The bag and card are both so sweet. Just off to browse back and see a bit more about your little hexies now....looking for a solution to a pile of hubby's old shirts...could that be it?

    :)

    late ... again!
