It's Wednesday again and a whole week since I last blogged. It's all a little bit crazy around here right now. With a few minutes to spare this (Tuesday) evening, I'm scheduling a quick kitchen table post.
This was the state of play on Sunday afternoon. Kitting (well in advance for me) for Wednesday's class. This week's project is a set of butterfly notelets and a holder to keep them in. It would make a lovely gift. Somebody, on Facebook, helpfully pointed out that it is 100 days 'til "you know what" so I may just put together a little tutorial.
I've shown you mine and I'll be round to see yours later. Happy Wednesday.
Those countdowns make me even more determined not to start thinking about you-know-what but it's going to have to happen soon! Well done getting kitted ahead of time! Helen 5
ReplyDeleteI'm not thinking anywhere past Halloween. Want to get out my fall decor and enjoy it. But time flies by. We had an empty calendar for Sept and now we've 3 things each Sat/Sun. I like the butterflies. Happy WOYWW #1 this time, but seriously don't know how that happened.
ReplyDeleteRibbon or seam binding? Whichever, it looks lovely
ReplyDeleteI really can't think about 'you know what'- I don't even feel we've had a summer yet! Mind you, I'll probably be panicking and rushing to get cards, tags and gifts made at the last minute so perhaps I should start thinking about it! I love the butterfly card - that's a very pretty image and looks lovely in the different shades of blue.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week,

You're right, that would make a fab prezzy...so pretty!
ReplyDeleteJust to let you know. Rhys is doing ok, keeping busy to counter the homesickness but he's making friends and putting in CVs to try and get a part time job. It's very quiet in the house here though......
Hugs, LLJ 13 xx
Love the latest kit....I'm sure it would make a perfect gift too.

Ooh that red and white paper looks lovely, I think a tutorial would be a fab and generous thing.. Hope your journeys to and from Plymouth were OK....is it strange at home now?
ReplyDeleteThe kit is looking very pretty ... I am always swayed by a butterfly.

Pretty kit idea. Now you've got me thinking about the C season too ! x Jo
ReplyDeleteOh that kits looks so pretty! I'm trying not to think about C but have started making presents so guess my subconscious is already for it! Take care Zo xx 36
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely project Fiona, though you're not giving too much away! I guess you don't want to ruin the surprise for your students in your class in case they read your blog. 100 days - sheesh! Where has the rest of the year gone? Happy WOYWW zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #38
ReplyDeleteBeen thinking about C for ages especially as we are away again, so need everything in place by beginning of December so I can get my head into cruise packing LOL!! And two fundraisers to do between now and then as well - better pull my big girl panties on and knuckle down. Look forward to the tutorial for this - I saw a sneaky peek on FB and they look fab xx
ReplyDeleteI think that is my favourite colour of seam binding
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday

The colours are beautiful. I know they will enjoy making them!
ReplyDeleteI also saw that 100 days reminder and am now feeling slightly panicked. Any and all suggestions for quick and easy gifts are appreciated!
ReplyDeleteYou know me ... I've been counting down for days. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are indeed very pretty, even though I won't be doing C until December :).
ReplyDeleteI can imagine how beautiful! I love the colors and that is one of my very favorite stamp sets!
ReplyDeleteFound you through WOYWW #328.
That is a beautiful butterfly x
ReplyDeleteThat looks lovely! Now as for "you know what" I refuse to even think about it until after Halloween. :)
