What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #313

Not a lot to show on my kitchen table this week. A few bits I got out to try and come up with the fourth card for my class today. The first three came relatively easy. One design giving rise to the next. This one, not so much.

I got there in the end. All the kits are cut and everything else is packed and ready to load in the car later. My girl has three exams today so I will be head cheer leader, before teacher, this morning.

Linking up with Julia and the deskers.

PS Still struggling along with Blogger. Live Writer is refusing to play nice. Despite all my Googling efforts I've turned up nothing helpful so far. Does anyone else use it? If you have any light to shed I'd be grateful.

  12. Hi Fiona, I hope all the exams go well for her. I have tried Live Writer in the past, ask away and I'll see if I can help. What I really liked about it was being able to resize images better than you can with Blogger. I may actually give my next post a try with it again. Can't remember why I stopped using it.Love the cards, I always amazed by all the variations you come up with. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #9 xx

  13. So many are talking of Live Writer this AM....I don't know about it and don't want anymore issues. Wish they'd just leave things be. Like the idea with your flourish stamp. I've some I've not used so guess what, gonna try it out later. Looks like a doom and gloomy day here again. 2 days of sunshine, terrible winds then we've 2 days of rain and winds forecast.
No complaints...my house is still here and not water logged. Texas is a mess. Have a fun day

  14. I remember the multiple exams at the end of term. Always put me on edge and created lots of stress. Why they can't spread them out a bit is still beyond me.

Good luck with your class. I'm not a card maker, so that always impresses me. That flourish stamp is beautiful. I'm sure you'll find many uses for it.

I've never heard of Live Writer, but I guess several have. I hope it's not a Blogger problem, because I certainly don't need any of those, especially since I'm not on any other social media sites.

Thanks for visiting me while I slept. Happy WOYWW from # 5.

  15. Thinking of you today as I am sewing am iPad cover for DS's GF. And look at you - all papercrafty. Wordpress keeps updating the tools, all designed to facilitate mobile device use and crap on a desktop. I have to bookmark all the old links so I can get back to them :)

Enjoy your class and best of luck to DD on her exams.

    Happy WOYWW!

  16. Hi Fiona. I was just at Charli's blog - she has moved to wordpress because WLW won't work on Blogger any more. I'm disappointed too, as it was a good way to write a post offline and post it later... It sounds as though Google are deliberately removing any capability to interact with outside / non-Google software... too mean of them!

I hope your daughter's exams went well. My son had just one today - but last week he had two in one morning, plus a third in the afternoon... quite a day. He has one tomorrow and another on Friday, then no more until 26th, when he will do his final AS exam (phew!).

Nice card background - I wonder what the finished card was like?

Happy Wednesday -and enjoy your class! Lizzie #45
