What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #311

And just like that it’s Wednesday again…..

IMG_20150519_151039

This is what my kitchen table looked like yesterday. The little mosaic stamps are retiring so they are having a last hurrah in class today. The panel I’m assembling here is for a monochrome card. The ink pads at the top were used in a more colourful version. I’ll miss those colours, but look forward to some new ones.

I finished the commissioned feather cards. Sorry to see these stamps go. They are a big favourite of mine. You may have noticed!

On Saturday it was the WOYWW 6th Anniversary crop and I’ll be back with more on that at the end of the week. Linking up with Julia. Happy Wednesday.

  15. I think its heartbreakingly sensible of SU! to withdraw stamps, totally see why they do it, but you'd think that they'd look at sales figures for certain images - I swear you Demos make some of the images absolute classics. I like the mosaic stamps too..that's a lovely blue.

  16. Hi Fiona, love those feather cards, the colours are gorgeous. I have some similar stamps from a magazine give away, that Janet Fairythoughts kindly sent me when I couldn't find it, and now I have the woodgrain stamp(thank you!)I may well be casing this idea! Lovely to see you & get a short chat, we'll have a better one next time. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #20 xxx

  17. Those feather cards are FAB! Not too sure about the mosaics. That looks like a lot of work, and coming from ME, that is saying something :)

Looking forward to seeing the hexi-project complete. I was so absorbed I never even asked what it was for, but I did notice with awe.

    Happy pre-anniversary WOYWW!

  20. Lovely cards, Fiona. I've finally made a few cards this week, after months of only making books. It was really enjoyable. The standard wasn't as good as I'd like, but they're nice and I'm sure I'll improve!
I like the stamp-and-punch set - the mosaic card looks interesting so far. Nice deep blue colour.
And the feather cards are lovely. I have some feather stamps and also a stencil - I must try them on a card or two!
Glad you enjoyed the crop. Wish I had gone along - maybe next time!
