The slightly blurry contents of my kitchen table, previously in boxes transported to class this morning. Now in the process of being returned whence they came.
I have embraced the Christmas crafting now that Halloween and Bonfire Night are almost past. I just can’t get into the mind set before then. There’s a traditional combination of red, green and kraft, along with a, less so, trio of blue and grey.
A couple of variations on a theme. One with a stamped background and….
….another using a mask and some white ink. Loving the mix and match handwriting and typewriter fonts in this set of stamps.
Are you yet to begin your cards or are you sitting smugly on a stockpile? I’m sure I’ll find the answer to that, on my travels around the desks of the world this evening. It’ll be getting dark here in the next half hour and I need to pop to the post office and see if I can find some laces for a pair of Doc Marten boots. I’ll be round later. We might just need the heating on tonight. Happy Wednesday.
Love the Christmas cards....same but different eh?

Beautiful cards :) We have the heating on here, its freezing!
ReplyDeleteYeah, that set of mixed font stamps is a gift..it's on my enormously long list!! Good for you for clearing away as soon as you get home...I hope you'd had a good morning. Pretty cards ...you know me and Kraft, it can do no wrong!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards! Similar but different. Love them! Happy WOYWW!

I love using mixed fonts like that. I do it a lot in Project life. Gorgeous cards.
ReplyDeleteThere are some lovely cards there, I love the photo on your blog. So sharp and crisp.
ReplyDeleteThose cards are gorgeous and I really love the stamps and the way you've mixed them up.
ReplyDeleteThere's that little tree stamp again! I loved seeing what you did with it on our crafting day, so clever...just like those fab cards :-)
ReplyDeleteI must admit, I've had loads of comments about my poppy too.....it is effective yet stupidly easy to make!
Hugs, LLJ 25
Ps. Did you see that May 16th is the next WOYWW crop?
Ahh i always love seeing what SU products you have on your desk. Great cards x
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely cards and even better as I bought those stamps, so yay ... Ideas :)
ReplyDeleteVery lovely cards! We have had our heat on here for a week now at night.Going to be colder still on the weekend I hear, with that awful white stuff too. I have decided this year to do digital Christmas cards for everyone to whom I must mail, and papercrafted cards for those to whom I can hand deliver. Postage is crazy, and getting padded envelopes and such is extra cost. I have bought some adorable digikits and can't wait to see the reaction to the cards. Happy WOYWW.
ReplyDeleteLoving the Christmas Tree. And the Christmas Wishes sentiment font is awesome! I just got my Ornamental Pine stamp set so I will be joining you in the Christmas card making. :-)

Great stamps - love the cards! I have indeed embraced them - 33 at the weekend, with some left from last year, I may be nearly done! Helen 3
ReplyDeleteLovely cards! A good white ink? That might be something else I need to investigate.
ReplyDeleteNo, I haven't started my cards yet
Well lets see if this works - 9 rotations of the word verification before I saw one I thought I MIGHT be able to read :) I love the cards, esp. the text for the sentiment. I assume they are SU? Love the colours as well - kraft makes everything better....

Happy WOYWW!

Just testing for Word verification!
ReplyDeleteLovely cards as always...love the mask too!! Txx
ReplyDeleteI love the lettering - great cards. Have a great week, Chris # 7
ReplyDeleteLovely cards and fab use of the mask. Ask me on Saturday - if the fundraiser is poorly attended then I could be smug about not having to make too many (but also upset that I haven't raised much for CWCF) or I could be in a blind panic when I realise that I need about another 50 cards LOL. No time for WOYWW this week but will be back next week!!
ReplyDeleteAck! I have GOT to stop spying on everyone else and my cards going. #63
ReplyDeleteOh I love your craft & stamp cards. So simple but very effective. Timeless really.
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm so late in commenting. I like to comment on all of the posts but there just aren't enough hours in the day...
Thank you for letting me look over your shoulder.
Have a good week.

Nice cards, I really like the idea of repeating the basics with some variations - especially on Christmas cards when you need a lot of them.
