The kitchen table is set up for a session of mass production this afternoon.
One of my friends is hosting a MacMillan coffee morning later this week and I’m donating a batch of cards for her to sell. I’m sticking with a tried and tested (and simple) design that can easily be adapted to make two dozen cards, in a variety of colours, without them looking too similar.
This was the result of last week’s masking class, for those of you that showed an interest. Not my usual palette, but it was fun to work with all those bright colours.
These were the other things we made. I’m hanging onto flowers and sunshine for a little longer, before starting the inevitable “seasonal” crafting.
I’m linking up with all the other deskers over at Julia’s place.
Hi Fiona. Love the flower theme for this week. Bright and cheery.

What lovely cards and such bright and cheerful colours!
ReplyDeleteI hope your friend raises a good amount of money with her coffee morning. Macmillan is such a worthy cause. I worked as a Palliative Care specialist for many years but I wasn't paid by MacMillan, they only had funds to pay a certain amount of nurses. I was paid by the local hospice. The more coffee mornings there are, the more nurses can be paid to do the work.
Thank you for letting me peep over your shoulder.

ReplyDeleteHi Fiona,
ReplyDeleteThe card you made for your friend's party is very sweet. When I find a design I like I definitely see the benefit in mass-producing.
Even though you say the other cards aren't in your normal color pallete they look fantastic. The one card matches the kleenex box perfectly! There's inspiration everywhere!
Happy belated WOYWW
