What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday #267

Good morning. Here we are again, taking a tour around the world by craft desk.

P1030525

The usual Tuesday kitting session in progress at the kitchen table. Where else? I took this just before clearing away. The children were due to arrive home from school at any moment. Today we are making one of the ever popular “Card in a Box” designs and a shaker card, which is new to me, but I think I cracked it.

The sun is shining and I’m about to load up my little Clio. Catch you all later, round at Julia’s place. Put the kettle on and I’ll bring the biscuits.

PS If you want see what those bits of fabric, I was cutting last week, turned into, then check out this post.

  3. Your prepping always looks so much tidier than mine, honestly, I think my desk just invites chaos!
Your tissue holder demo is fab, and yep..so much simpler than others I've seen. I think the other way round about your workshop too...the box is relatively new to me but I've been playing with shaker cards for what seems yonks!

  5. What on earth is a shaker card? Simple, like Shaker furniture, or movable, like a snow globe? On the other hand, I know just what a box card is, they're so clever! I love the way they fold flat for posting...ingenious :-)

  11. Fiona,I love your colorful desk! Cards in a Box, and shaker cards are difficult for me, but I am glad you have them cracked! Love your little tissue holder. My GF makes those and sells them, and of course I was lucky enough to get one for a gift. :) Thanks for the peek today. #34
