My return to dressmaking. A dress with pockets? Oh yes! Just looking at that French seam finishing makes me happy.

ReplyDeleteLooking lovely! I remember making a nightdress in VIth Form sewing group. It was fine rayon lawn and frayed so easily. So, every seam was a French seam... took ages. But I loved that nightdress and it was So worth the extra effort. And, it didn't fall apart!

I have three skirts cut out but I don't think I will be showing anyone the seams.
