What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday? #248

I’m up with the lark today. In fact I think I may have beaten him to it. It’s lovely to hear the birdsong again in the early mornings, sadly lacking during the endless rain.

Anyhow, you’re not here for a weather report, onto the desk. Yesterday was “kitting” day again. Kraft and wood grain putting in another appearance, as well as a touch of peach and a few butterflies. No doilies this week, but the ruffled ribbon has sneaked back onto my desk. No idea what that lolly is doing in the middle there!

Here’s a better look at the little box, in case you wanted one. You’ve seen everything else we made last time. One of those cards made it onto the UK Scrappers home page. I’m in fine company. That was an exciting discovery on a cold and wet Monday morning. Oh, and we’re back to the weather!

Time for me to drink up my rooibos and pack the contents of the kitchen table into boxes. I just have to do it on the morning, or I have to unpack it again, to make sure I haven’t forgotten anything crucial. It hasn’t happened yet. Did I really just say that?

Julia is hosting our weekly desk hopping as always. Why don’t you pop over and say “Hi!” You’d be most welcome.

  1. Oh you're in good company! You ought to see me before I do the catering for workshops or whatever...I'm like a mad woman talking to herself as I try to mentally walk through what it is that has to happen!!

  11. Hello Fiona, haven't been by for a while, but I wanted to join in WOYWW this week - and yours was the first thing in my reading list, so obviously I'm supposed to come to your blog first!
Love the spotty, dotty little gift box - so cute!
Your desk looked very tidy - quite planned and organised (I'm sure you needed it to be organised, if you had to get it all packed up to go out!)
Congratulations on getting your card on the Home Page!

  12. Fiona, your desk is so neat and tidy - there's space between all the items! I'm with LLJ. I go through the packing up again and again, talking to myself, talking to hubby, writing lists....it takes ages to pack for a catering or craft event.
Have a great week, and trust all went well today.
