What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday #211

Tuesday afternoon at the kitchen table. Playing with pin wheels and punches.

I was trying to come up with some ideas for masculine cards for next week’s class. I also had out lots of small punches to make some other embellishments.

Here’s a closer look at one of the pin wheels made up. You don’t really need a die at all, but it does make mass production a lot quicker.

For anyone who was interested in the finished card, shown in last Wednesday’s sneak peek, it can be found here. I’ve shared the others we made last week too.

  14. I love windmills - have loads in my garden!!! never used them on cards thought ..... maybe time to try.

    I think it is great that one can get dies for almost anything nowadays.

  20. The die may not be needed, but the trick of choosing good paper to cut the windmill from is all part of the skill..this stripe is perfect!
