Well here we are again, on another tour around the crafty desks of the world, presided over by the lovely Julia. Although it would seem she has been getting a wee bit tetchy this week on the subject of inkpads! I have never stored my inkpads upside down, so the whole lid falling off issue is not one that has troubled me greatly. Anyway you came to see what’s on my desk this week, so here it is.
There’s a Circle Journal propped up at the back, so that I keep it in mind and don’t forget it’s due to be posted in less than a week. Some stamped cupcakes for a birthday card, ready to be coloured in this evening. Episodes 11 and 12 of True Blood Season 1 (I know, I know, I’m a long way behind the rest of the world here)ready to be posted back to LoveFilm in the morning. A Cowboy Junkies album that I just had to listen to, after hearing a snippet of a song in episode 11 and remembering how much I love it.
Pop back tomorrow if you want to see how I store my ridiculously large collection of inkpads!
Oh believe me I'll be back tomorrow then:)
ReplyDeleteI love those neat rows of pencils! :)
ReplyDeleteI store many of my inkpads upside down but they came as a set in a case so the case keeps their lids on, fortunately....
Ah, the alternate use for my desk - leave stuff that needs doing on it - post, mending, etc! it's no the upside down storage - I expect the lids to be a bit comprimised in such circs..it;s this one pad..you can't pick it up because the lid comes off in your hand. Now look, you've set me off again!!
ReplyDeleteohoo we used to get 'LoveFilms' I store my nearly empty ink pad upside down. Happy Crafting!

I love looking at those pencils all lined up like that..would make a cool pic for the wall!
ReplyDeleteawesome box of pencils. I have kept mine in their tins but I get so tired of having to go from box to box looking for the right color. OMG! Can't believe you set the Queen of Snoops off with the ink pad deal again! I'm with her on the lid deal too...it should fit and I shouldn't have to worry about it! Thanks for sharing. Vickie #107
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic box of pencils. Those are enviable! Will be back tomorrow - always interested to see storage ideas. Thanks. Hugs, Neet #9
ReplyDeleteI'll be back tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteWe are big Lovefilm fans here too - we got a sub as a Christmas present from friends
Never mind the ink pads - I have pencils flashing behind my eyelids everytime I close my eyes! 'Scuse me while I wipe the dribble off my chin....
ReplyDeleteYour desk looks very orderly and ready for you to make more wonderful things!. But I think you may have set off another debate on how to store pencils ! :) Nan
ReplyDeleteFabulous workspace, so neat and organised!
ReplyDeleteInk pads...some upside down and some the right way up...and like Julia, I have one that the lid keeps comong off...most angering it is, mostly because I know the blooming thing will come off it but still loose the lid every time! Doh!!!
*hugs* Sal x
Ah, one lovely place there all ready to attack the creative side!! and have been stamping since 1992 and never heard of storing upside down till two years ago so did; then then heard Tim Holtz say on a video there was no point in doing it! and that was good enough for me. Rather like I took meds for over 30 years then all of a sudden they say I should refrigerate it.. well they took long enough to let me know. I do it but funny how rules change and transition isn't it!! Shaz in oz.x
ReplyDeleteLove all your organized ink pads! Wow! Ah and LoveFilm...I almost cried when we moved back to the UK and had to give up NetFlix, so when Screen Select came I was signed up in a heartbeat. Lucky I don't have a fast enough home connection to actually stream films or I would be on there all day :)
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW

PS do you mean for your blog link on your comments to go back to that old post? I see it every week before I click home to see what's current :)
I never knew that about the ink pads! Some of mine are on their sides, just how they fit in the box. I carry my distress inks around all the time and they are on their side in my tote but I can't see what colour they are (always the last one I pick!) Great selection of ink pads in drawers!
