This set is one I might have overlooked, as I am not really a floral girl, but it has proved to be very useful. With the matching punch you can whip up a card in no time at all. Very handy if you need one at the last minute, which I often do.
I stamped a couple of flowers directly onto the Whisper White. Another on a separate piece, along with a centre, which I punched out. The leaves are made by punching another flower from cardstock and cutting into pieces. The assembled flower is then added to the background using foam pads to give some dimension.
Stamps ~ Mixed Bunch (and Curly Cute for sentiment)
Punches ~ Blossom, 3/4” circle
Inks ~ Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive
Cardstock ~ Whisper White, Old Olive
Apologies for the awful photos. I waited until this afternoon in the vain hope that the dark skies would clear, but sadly not. The rain hasn’t stopped here since lunchtime yesterday. Hoping it’s better wherever you might be.

ReplyDeleteI love it, but then I love SU!
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's good to work with things we wouldn't normally use. It's like the ATC swap group I'm in. We have a monthly theme and some of them you think 'What?!!'
Take care

What a super cute card, and you've given me an idea for shooting the cards I just made up.
ReplyDeleteI mean't to get back to you about the hostess thingy. I think I'm going to have to wait as I'm on a stash diet but definitely keep me in mind for any others, especially shorter ones.
ReplyDeleteI love that punch!! I think the design is lovely and really displays those flowers perfectly!
