What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 351

It's been Half Term around here and my girl has only gone back to college today. The kitchen table has been her domain.

This morning, I came down to this at 6am.....

Went out into this.....

Came home and made this.....

I like the splashy background on my biplane cards so much, I had to use it again.

Now it's coffee time and a chance to visit Julia and the Deskers on this gloriously sunny day.

Love the saxa salt pot! Well done to your daughter - did she do that last thing at night or first thing in the morning? Either way - impressive. Your card is great - I agree - I love that background, too.
The mornings certainly are cold at the moment - but I confess NOT to being out in them at that time!! But guess what I saw the other day? Cold or not, wet or not; in my garden, in the same border - in fact, right next to each other - were a Welsh poppy and a snowdrop. Yes, both in flower at the same time!!! Crazy or what?? I didn't get out quickly enough with my camera before the wind had blown the petals off the poppy - but today I have noticed another Welsh poppy out in the back garden!
Take care. God bless.

Great water-colours -I love the salt pot - what an arty daughter you have! That's all a bit early for me, I don't think I'd be with it enough to handle a camera at that time of the morning, it takes me a while to 'come round'! Thanks for the visit, hope you have a good week,

HI Fiona, love your daughters artwork. It seems to have been fairly frosty all round, as Doug said it was very frosty when he came home this morning. I like that background too, it really works so well, doesn't it. Provides enough colour without being overpowering. Had some fun finally making use of the Woodgrain stamp. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #12 xx

Creativity is abounding in your home. Your daughter's skill & talent is wonderful. I like your very cheerful balloon card. It is/will be a crafty day for me as the weather is wicked & the authorities are asking people not to go out unless they absolutely have to - so doing my part, I am hope with my scrapping stash pulled out ...

I'm just in from my afternoon school run and having done the morning school run and a full day of sewing in between I'm feeling rather jaded but as you can imagine those little ones never fail to put a smile on my face so it's all worth it.
Thanks for dropping by at mine earlier.
It looks like your daughter is following in your footsteps :-)

It was a lovely day wasn't it. I was moved to wash the car so that I could be productive and out in the sun! I love your daughters style, do you know Tracey Fletcher King from early WOYWW days? She makes a living as an artist of everyday things, worth lovely girl taking a look, I think. I do like the apology background, so useable....I have two old ones by I can't remember who...they are still amongst my 'go to' stamps!
